Scandinavian Interior Design – Although this duplex apartment is just 55m² large road in the center of Stockholm, creating the white walls and many light while leaving sufficient room feeling. Using wood and the Scandinavian device thereby provides a trendy and warm touch. Urban style living at its best!
55m² in total. When furnishing the apartment it was our intention to create a sufficient bright and clear environment, suitable for the long and dark winters in Sweden. There are several things that contribute.
There are the large windows that allow light to penetrate deep into the apartment. This will create a lot of extra space feeling. The white walls and white ceiling reinforce that feeling as they reflect the light.
Large windows and a white color are the solution to make a small space look bigger and create an open feeling. This apartment also contributes to the high ceiling that extends up to the second floor to this. It allows both the bands of space as above, higher and, therefore, appear larger.
The wooden floor and staircase in combination with white give the apartment a calm and warm look. Small details such as pillows, blankets, plants and other subtle decoration provide extra cosiness.
On chosen field of furniture for Scandinavian design that makes for a trendy touch. Moreover, it fits perfectly with the look and feel of city life in Stockholm.
For the kitchen, which leads to the living room, chose a dark color. A stylish and contemporary eye-catcher that contrasts with the bright and monotonous look of the rest of the apartment.
The bedroom is located upstairs on the mezzanine. Here, too light through the skylights make the small room seem visually larger. As in the living room create the wooden floor and decoration warmth and coziness in the white interior. The carpet, chair, mirror,… There is clearly thinking about.
This apartment makes it clear that you do not need much space to be beautiful, compact and yet feature all live necessary. For example, the bathroom has a dressing room and there is even a small but cozy terrace to enjoy the Swedish air.
